Our mission, vision and bigger questions
Our Mission
At Sampoorna Vidya, our aim is to give your child a life-jacket of Dharma in the ocean of life so they can navigate challenges of their adolescence and adulthood. We believe in empowering children with timeless wisdom through modern, engaging methods.
We do this through hands-on experiences and inquiry-based learning where children explore, connect, and relate to concepts as opposed to being told what to think and believe. This approach helps them develop critical thinking skills while building a strong foundation in values.
Why do we do this?
Our kids are our legacy. As parents, we are their first teachers (Gurus). We have the immense responsibility of teaching them right from wrong, truth from lies, kindness, and self-discipline. In a world where our children are exposed to countless influences—especially from the internet—where do we begin? In our quest to answer this, Sampoorna Vidya was born. We are here to empower parents to help guide their children on the path of Dharma.
We are parents like you, navigating the journey of parenting by leaning on the wisdom of Sanatana Dharma and Bharatiya Samskrithi, through the lens of whole-child education. As trained Montessori educators living and teaching in Sydney, our hearts remain deeply connected to Bharat, our motherland—yearning for the stories that shaped us. We know many migrant parents feel the same. They want their children to grow up hearing the same stories that once filled their own childhood. We are passionate parents, navigating our identity as Indian Australians, seeking to contribute to the country that has welcomed us, while also finding ways to honor and repay our motherland, Bharat.
Our Approach
Our educational approach is centered around experiential learning. We create environments where children can discover principles of Dharma through activities, stories, discussions, and reflection.
Rather than imposing beliefs, we encourage questions and exploration. This helps children internalize values and develop their own understanding of how these principles apply to their lives.
